1. हम कौन हैं
Rumeel (“we”, “us”, “our”) runs an English-learning platform — courses, practice, progress and related services. For privacy questions write to care@rumeel.in.
2. Information we collect
- Account details: name, email, phone number and password (stored as a secure hash).
- Learning activity: courses, lessons, scores, notes and progress on your dashboard.
- Orders: course, amount, payment status and order number. Card numbers are not stored by us.
- Support messages you send by form, email or phone.
- Technical data: browser type, language preference (for example the Hindi/English cookie) and basic device information needed to run the site.
3. How we use it
- To create and secure your account.
- To deliver courses, practice and progress.
- To process payments through Razorpay and issue refunds when eligible.
- To answer support requests and send important account or order emails.
- To improve lessons and keep the platform reliable and safe.
We do not sell your personal information.
4. Payments
Paid courses are charged through Razorpay. Razorpay handles UPI, cards, netbanking and wallets. Rumeel never stores your full card or UPI PIN. Razorpay’s own privacy terms apply to the payment step.
5. Cookies
We use a small language cookie so the site can remember English or Hindi, and session cookies so you stay logged in. You can block cookies in your browser; some features (login, language) may then not work fully.
6. Sharing
We share data only when needed: with Razorpay to take payment; with email/SMS providers to send account mail; and if the law requires it. We do not share your learning data for advertising.
7. Retention and security
We keep account and order records for as long as you use Rumeel and as required under Indian law (including tax and consumer records). We use access controls and hashed passwords. No website is perfectly secure — please use a strong password.
8. Your choices
- Update your profile from your student account.
- Ask us to correct data or explain what we hold — email care@rumeel.in.
- Request account closure. We may keep order records where the law requires it.
9. Children
Rumeel is intended for learners who can create an account. If you believe a child has given us data without a parent or guardian, write to care@rumeel.in and we will look into it.
10. Law and contact
This policy is governed by the laws of India. Courts in Ajmer, Rajasthan have exclusive jurisdiction. Contact:
